•Items: These items are a good balance of tankiness and some damage. This build is better if the Roamer is a healer type support. If they are an Assassin type Roamer or a Mage Roamer (like Novaria) then you should consider going full tank instead.

-Anti-heal: Get Dominance Ice or Glowing Wand early if you think you need it.

-Divine Glaive: Only buy this if you really think you need the magic penetration, otherwise just consider buying one of the following: Blood Wings, Clock of Destiny, Oracle or other defensive items.

-Emblems: These emblems help you clear creep waves faster because you should be able to leave your lane fast to join teamfights since your team doesn't have a frontliner. You can also consider letting your first tower get destroyed in these type of games. It's more important for you to protect your team especially in turtle fights and if your team seems to be losing which isn't shocking since the team doesn't have a frontliner lmao. Learn to abuse lane cutting also so you can leave your lane fast.

-Battle spell: Vengeance. Revitalize or Aegis can be good and considerable if the opponents have MANY heroes that disappear and become untargettable like Lunox, Hayabusa, Kadita and Wanwan since they won't be affected by the return damage anyway. Just make sure that you have enough armor to survive Sea Halberd Damage if you do so since Vengeance was original there to also counter that item but losing it can open up the problem somehow.

••You can play Carmilla in the midlane with the same build and the same reasons + the fact that your Exp Laner picked another squishy hero without reliable CC like Zilong or Aulus for example. Heroes like Alucard or Benedetta feels like they belong in that category also, but it can depend on their build I guess.
